Pilates Instructor, Massage Therapist
Christine started practicing Pilates in 2000, when she discovered the movement practice through a client. She loved the way she felt muscles that had never really been fully used before. At the time, she had been practicing massage therapy since 1994. Her Pilates practice was starting to help her understand soft tissue injuries from a different perspective. In addition, she found she was working with better posture, preventing the repetitive stress injuries that plague so many massage therapists. Christine loved Pilates so much that she decided to make a career of it and incorporated it into her massage therapy practice. She has completed over 675 hours of comprehensive Pilates education in the classical method of Pilates through the Align Teacher Training Program. She continued her training at The Pilates Center in Boulder, Colorado completing over 100 additional hours of continuing education training and completed The Masters Program at The Pilates Center of Boulder. Christine has over 800 hours of Comprehensive Massage Therapy training, with experience in Myofascial Release, Orthopedic Massage, and Neuromuscular Therapy. Christine’s approach to pilates is very individualized, taking into account your personal goals and needs. It is her desire that the skills you learn in your Pilates practice are taken into your daily life to help you find more ease in everyday movement.

"Pilates has improved my life: I love it! It has helped me to balance my body and diminish daily pain. It's helped me recover from childbirth, after C-section, VBAC, and bi-lateral hernia surgeries.
